XTC – Apple Venus

This vinyl record features “Apple Venus Volume 1,” the thirteenth studio album by English rock band XTC, originally released in 1999. The album showcases a blend of symphonic and orchestral pop elements, highlighting the band’s exploration beyond their earlier rock and alternative styles. Produced by Haydn Bendall and Nick Davis, it includes richly arranged tracks such as “River of Orchids” and “Knights in Shining Karma.” Released on the Idea Cooking Vinyl label, this album marks a significant moment in XTC’s evolution toward more elaborate, textured compositions. This is a new pressing, still sealed in its original shrink wrap, ensuring the vinyl is in pristine condition.
