The Chipmunks – Chipmunk Rock – LP

The Chipmunks – Chipmunk Rock

Chipmunk Rock puts The Chipmunks in a rock and pop-rock parody frame, with the title itself telling you the basic joke and appeal. It is less a conventional rock record than a novelty pop record built around the group’s Chipmunks persona, which makes it a fun fit for shelves that lean toward character albums, parody, and offbeat early-’80s pop culture. This copy is a 1982 vintage vinyl pressing priced at $16. The record is graded VG+, so a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs are expected, but not wear that should dominate the music. The main appeal here is a period Chipmunks rock-parody record in a strong everyday used-vinyl grade.
