Steppenwolf – Monster

This vintage 1969 vinyl pressing of Steppenwolf’s fourth studio album, Monster, showcases the band’s blend of psychedelic rock, blues rock, and hard rock. Produced by Gabriel Mekler and released on ABC Dunhill, the album features tracks like “Monster/Suicide/America” and “Power Play,” reflecting the era’s social and political tensions. Steppenwolf, a Canadian-American group known for their influential sound, continued to develop their style with this release. The record is graded VG+, indicating some minor hairline marks and light package wear, but it should play with only minimal background noise. Monster captures a distinct moment in late-60s rock, marked by its raw energy and thematic depth.
