Sheila E – Sheila E – LP

Sheila E – Sheila E

Sheila E by Sheila E carries Prince’s behind-the-scenes presence, with uncredited vocals and instrumentation on several tracks adding extra interest to the production. “Hold Me” shows another side of her range: an R&B ballad that reached number three on the U.S. R&B singles chart. The album also reflects a wide recording footprint, with work done at studios including Sunset Sound in Hollywood and Paisley Park in Minnesota. Sheila E’s reputation as a drummer, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist gives the record added pull beyond its pop and R&B crossover appeal. This is a 1987 vinyl pressing priced at $10, making it an affordable Sheila E copy with solid album context. The record is graded VG+, so expect a strong everyday listening grade with a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs possible, but not wear that should dominate the music.
