Michael Henderson – Solid – LP

Michael Henderson – Solid

Michael Henderson’s Solid is his debut album, and it puts his musician’s range right up front: on “Solid” he handles lead and backing vocals along with bass guitar, guitar, and drums. Henderson’s blend of soul and funk is the heart of the record, with “Make Me Feel Better” and “Let Love Enter” showing how naturally he worked across both styles. “Be My Girl” also reached the US R&B chart, giving the album a recognizable anchor beyond deep-cut funk/soul appeal. This copy is a 1976 vinyl pressing, offered at $10, making it an affordable Michael Henderson copy with real vintage character. The record is graded VG, so expect more visible wear and possible background noise, while the music remains the focus. For a low-priced vintage soul/funk debut with Detroit-recorded roots, this is a very approachable copy.
