Exuma’s Reincarnation stands out as a deeply mystical journey through reggae and folk rock, shaped by his signature blend of spiritual storytelling and hypnotic rhythms. With arrangements and conducting by Larry Wilcox alongside Exuma’s own direction, the album weaves acoustic small-group textures with touches like cowbell and harp from Achmed Ben Mansel and Baron Samedi, adding unique layers to tracks such as “Obeah Man Come Back” and the title piece, “Exuma’s Reincarnation.” The artwork by Frank Gauna and Glen Christensen visually complements the album’s otherworldly vibe, making it a compelling entry in Exuma’s catalog. This 1972 Kama Sutra vinyl pressing offers a focused listening experience for those drawn to psychedelic and folk-tinged reggae sounds. The record is graded VG, meaning it plays well but shows evident signs of use, perhaps with some background noise typical of a well-loved vintage pressing. It’s the sort of album where the spirit of the music invites you to lean in close—just don’t be surprised if the grooves carry a few tales of their own along the way.
