Christopher Cross – Christopher Cross – LP

Christopher Cross – Christopher Cross

This is a 1979 vintage vinyl pressing of Christopher Cross’s self-titled debut album, released by Warner Bros. The album was produced by Michael Omartian, known for his work with prominent artists in the soft rock and pop genres. Christopher Cross helped define the soft rock and yacht rock sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s, blending smooth melodies with polished production. As the artist’s first studio album, it established Cross’s reputation as a singer-songwriter with a distinctive style. The vinyl is graded VG+, indicating minor hairline marks and some package wear, but it should play well with only light background noise. This pressing captures the original sound and feel of the album as it was first introduced to audiences.
