Clarence Carter – Testifyin’ – LP

Clarence Carter – Testifyin’

Testifyin’ pairs Clarence Carter’s soul and rhythm-and-blues roots with blues material, with titles like “Snatching It Back,” “Soul Deep,” and “I Smell a Rat” giving a clear sense of the record’s gritty R&B appeal. With album-specific history thin, the draw is straightforward: a vintage Carter record from his late-’60s period, where soul, blues, and funk-adjacent grooves are all part of the mix. This copy is a 1969 vinyl pressing priced at $18. The record is graded VG+, a solid everyday listening grade where a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs may be present, but not wear that should dominate the music. A worthwhile copy if you’re after Clarence Carter on vintage vinyl with honest condition and no inflated claims.
