The Animals – Animalization
Animalization catches The Animals in their American MGM period, mixing band originals with covers rather than leaning on a single formula. With Tom Wilson among the producers and a US Billboard Top LPs peak of No. 20, it was a meaningful Stateside release for the English rock band and a strong example of their blues-rock and beat-era edge. This $30 copy is a 1966 original MGM vinyl pressing, still in shrink, which gives it especially nice shelf appeal for a vintage Animals record. The record is graded NM and looks unplayed, with exceptionally clean-looking vinyl: glossy surface, no visible lines, scuffs, or sleeve marks noted. For a buyer after a sharp original copy of Animalization, the shrink and near-new vinyl grade are the standout reasons to grab this one.
