Mike Viola – Paul McCarthy – LP

Mike Viola – Paul McCarthy

Mike Viola’s Paul McCarthy sits in the power-pop and indie-rock side of his catalog, giving buyers a clear lane for this 2023 vinyl LP. Viola is an American producer, musician, songwriter, and singer whose wider résumé includes work with Dawes, Panic! at the Disco, Andrew Bird, Mandy Moore, Jenny Lewis, and others. His original music has also appeared in films including That Thing You Do!, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, and Get Him to the Greek, which adds useful context for why his solo records attract pop-minded listeners. The track list includes “Bill Viola,” “Water Makes Me Sick,” “Scientist Alexis,” “Torp,” and the title track “Paul McCarthy.” This 2023 Mike Viola vinyl pressing is still sealed in its original shrink wrap, making it an unopened new-vinyl copy.
